hey, we're a band from arkadelphia, arkansas. music is our passion and we like to rock it out!!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
mayor dave was formed in october of 2002 when bassist david beuerman joined forces with nick atchley, jason strobbe and daniel grady, all formerly of dayspring. mayor dave's first show was in november at thrio's in arkadelphia, and since then has quickly become one of arkadelphia's rising stars. not that there are that many here to begin with. as of late, mayor dave has been in high demand for concerts. and our cds are selling as fast we can make them. on august 25th, we had an opportunity to open for blessid union of souls before a crowd of about 1200 screaming, excited fans...they like us, they really like us!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
oh we definitely play live...anywhere...and we love it...

What equipment do you use?
we've got two guitars, bass and drums. grady plays a gibson studio through a marshall JCM900 head, nick plays a customized fender strat through a marshall JCM900, dave plays an ibanez 5-string bass through a gallien-krueger head and a carvin 2x10 cab. and strobbe has a yamaha stage custom with bright, shiny cymbals.
