NEW ORLEANS AREA 1998:
May Flood came together and created an original rock
sound with a splash of funk and a side order of the
blues. The band consist of the following four
members:
Brian Strong.........Lead guitar/Vocals
Tim Martin...........Vocals/Acoustic guitar
Billy McGaha.........Bass
Henry Klibert........Drums
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
1999:
During a year of gigging in the New Orleans area, and
across the gulf coast, the Ten song CD entitled "No
Street Lights on the Bayou", recorded at Holly House
Studios in Biloxi, MS, was produced and distributed at
the many shows which followed.
2000:
13 Inches, May Flood's latest creation, which truly
exhibits the band's diversity in musical tastes and
influences was released to the general public early
November, 2000.
On October 19, 2000, May Flood made its television
debut on Louisiana Jukebox Live, Channel 10, in New
Orleans, LA.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes. We've played all over the city of New Orleans, Fat City in Metairie, Gulfport & Biloxi in Miss., and anywhere good people wanted to hear GOOD MUSIC!! We loved playing live...there's nothing like it in the world!! We just tried to put on the best possible show we could.
