The band was first formed when my good friend John Legere, the drummer and I were posted to HMCS Toronto together. He said, "You play guitar don't you? Good, then we're forming a band!" The band went through several changes over the years, and right now I am just using the name for myself.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Haven't played out since I was injured in 2000. Highlights would be playing in Liverpool UK, and the Persian Gulf in 98 for the USO. We were there on patrol and when we would pull into Bahrain we had a regular gig at the Jr Ranks Mess with the USO. Great times. I miss it and hope to get back into gigging again.
Your musical influences
Grew up with older brothers so I had a lot of the UK invasion going on. But I also like a lot of Canadian groups. Influences would have to be the Beatles, George Harrison, Robbie Robertson, Clapton too many others to mention.
What equipment do you use?
Mainly Les Paul reissues, Godins and a Taylor T5, with a Martin DC15E acoustic. Fender and Marshall amps. Digitech RP12 processor, and Crossroads pedal, and occasionally a Yamaha keyboard/MIDI controller.
