Black Magic - Flies Black Magic - Flies
The Way You Make Me Feel (MJ Cover) The Way You Make Me Feel (MJ Cover)
Acoustic cover of Michael Jacksons song 'The Way You Make Me Feel'.
Don't Fear The Reaper Don't Fear The Reaper
Cover of Don't Fear the Reaper that I recorded in like 3 hours, mixed by brother in about 1 hour. First acoustic song i've ever recorded.
Peel Peel
Believe it or not this song didn't exist at ALL before like 4pm on Monday. So it's still only just over 2 days old. It has to be the quickest & smoothest experience I've EVER had writing, recording & mixing a song.
Morphine Morphine
One of 3 new tracks I've been working on. New style. 'Black Magic' is the project name.
Come Together (MJ Cover) Come Together (MJ Cover)
Originally a Beatles song - this version is a tribute to a huge influence on me - Michael Jackson.
Guns & Kisses Guns & Kisses
Song wrote with images of cities at night, rooftop shenanigans, crime, mobsters, police, etc... You get the picture. If you don't there is something wrong with you and you should be shot.
Stop, Drop and Rock n' Roll Stop, Drop and Rock n' Roll
This song is jazz. I've always wanted to write something like this so I gave it a go. I wrote the guitar that's in it about 4 years ago and finally decided to use it.
The Condemned The Condemned
A gloomy piece, that builds a sort of 'waiting for end' type of tension through out. I set out to make something using primarily woodwind instruments.
Red Barn Red Barn
I wrote this song in about 2 hours and finished it in about 4 hours. This is a piece that only uses stringed intruments. Which is a decision I made before writing it.
Digital Wasteland Digital Wasteland
This is taken from a 2 minute film I scored which was created by Zennor Alexander. My first EVER attempt at scoring a video. Was a lot of fun... I tried to write something that would take you on a short journey.
The Art of Tattling The Art of Tattling
The Art of Tattling is a mixture of jazz and orchestra. I tried to capture a similar sound to 30's swing and jazz mixed with something a bit more modern. I used a Xaphoon on this song, it comes in at 0:25 and finishes around 0:40.
Tick, Tock. Tick, Tock.
Outro piece. I wrote this in about a minute and spent about 2 hours spicing it up and mixing it.
The Halls The Halls
This piece of music is something I've been playing on guitar for a while now... Finally got round to using for something. ooOoOoo Sp0oky! or not.
Chasing a Shadow Chasing a Shadow
Chasing a Shadow was written to a story that I had in my head of a man being chased by the 1930's mob through back alleys and cobbled streets at night.
Stirred up by the Wind Stirred up by the Wind
This track was written for a competition. The style was ethnic. I went for the most obvious style, mid-eastern. But, I tried to mix it up and throw some western elements into it aswell. Came out at about 60/40. Which is what I wanted.
Forever Forever
This is a song I wrote for a competition in which I came second place. I was first in the voting all week but was caught up to and lost by one vote in the last day.
Reflections Reflections
This is another song I wrote for a competition. In which the theme was sadness. Very similar in style to 'The Condemned'. I tried write something that conveyed a deep sadness.
