Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Originally from Baltimore, MD, I was classically trained in piano since age 4, took piano and flute lessons at the Peabody Preperatory Institute in MD, as well as classical voice lessons and a little guitar. Then I went to Berklee College of Music in Boston, and everything I knew went out the window. Now I'm a rock star:)
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Sometimes. Mainly in churches in MD. I can play in MD or MA, or possibly travel somewhere else. I'm still in school, so not too flexible:)
Your musical influences
I've been told I sound country, blues, rock, jazz, and folk. Most of the time I go for rock or folk, but I guess things don't always come out as planned. My ultimate writing influence is Nichole Nordeman, but I sound more like a mix of Shania Twain and Jennifer Knapp--at least, about half of the time...
What equipment do you use?
Garage Band, Apple Mac, 4-track interface, any mic.
