Band/artist history
Bio
Matt Kusiba is a singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada. He has been writing songs over the past 15 years and has made an impact within the indie community, recieving acclaim from indie and major labels, and had spawned a #1 single on Soundclick.com with the acoustic song Missing You out of a half million songs.
Matt has since rounded up a new band, a collective of likeminded musicians as he has moved on from the pop/rock leanings of his debut into more experimental rock and folk territory which can be found in new songs @ his myspace.(the folk rock ditties Baby Blue and Took The Time show this indulgence in early demos).
Matt runs his www.myspace.com/mattkusiba where he blogs, posts new song demos and rarities, periodically.
His new band which has yet to find a name, is set to start performing gigs at local Toronto Hotspots such as Horseshoe Tavern, Sneeky Dees and The Black Swan. Stay tuned for shows in APRIL 2010!
Keep up to date here , and at the aforementioned myspaces.
Rock on.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I play solo acoustic shows, every so often in Toronto and the GTA. I love it when people clap along to the beat of a song while I'm playing a gig. My new band will start playing shows live around Toronto in Winter 2011.
