i am 17 (turning 18 in a week). i am a bedroom dj at the moment, just trying to get my skills up before i perform in front of an audience.
why is it when DJ Q-Bert is introduced at a hip hop awards show nobody gives a shit or even knows who he is; if nelly were introduced white women would go wild. dj's are the backbone of hip hop, screw the media's perversion of "gangsta rap".

fuck prop dj's, the ones that stand behind dmx and rap into a mic every once in a while and pretend to scratch, but all they use is a drum machine and call themselves dj's. and let's not forget those cdj fags who download all their music from kazaa. die.
