Matt Bannister
Hey what's up. I'm Matt Bannister from Atlanta, Georgia. I'm 20 years old, and music is my thing. I've been playing for a little over 10 years (guitar, bass, drums). I'm currently in college at the State University of West Georgia.
NOTE: Matt also plays in his band, Voyager 2.

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I currently play around wherever, and whenever I can. Duluth, Carrollton, Madison...pretty much whoever has an opening.
Your musical influences
My influences are pretty scattered...let's see...we've got Jeff Buckley, 311, Led Zeppelin, anything Motown (especially the Jackson 5), Michael Jackson, The Beatles, John Mayer, 80's music (laugh it up), Bush, Smashing Pumpkins, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice In Chains, Maroon 5, Gavin DeGraw, Rufus Wainwright, Matt Nathanson, Shawn Mullins, Silverchair, Ludacris (lol), Jason Mraz and lots of other cool stuff...
What equipment do you use?
As far as acoustic guitars go, I use a Martin D-28 and a Taylor 355 12-string. For electrics I use my Fender Tex-Mex Stratocaster and my Gibson Invader. For basses I use a Fender Jazz bass. For drums I use a Roland TD-5. For recording I use a Korg D-16 digital multitrack system. Other guitars I have include: Gibson 125 acoustic-electric, Yamaha acoustic (model unknown), and a Squier by Fender electric (not worth mentioning AT ALL).
