Matecha

Matecha is a new industrial project born from the city of Surrey, in Canada. Expect a heavy electronic-industrial style with elements of techno, metal, classical and completely unique styles of music.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Matecha began with Andrew attending piano lessons at an early age. In late 1999 he began creating musical compositions on his computer, and since then has learned how to use a wide array of technical music equipment. This combined with a knowledge of musical theory and classical music background equals the creative and unique music you hear today.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Only as part of another project, "FMTA" ( website http://fmta.ath.cx/ )

Anything else?
My music is something different from the generic, mindless, unintelligent garbage you'll find all over the net and all over the radio and pop culture. You ought to listen to it, and let yourself feel the feelings in the music. Don't just dismiss it as some "dumb kid making music on his computer", unless you want to miss out on some cool music and hearing the early works of a future famous musician...
