Master The Mix
I began in a number of school bands, in one of those bands we decided to record an album at home with my friend's equipment. I then began a Music Production Degree at Newcastle, which I have finished my first year. I learnt so much about the theory behind why certain processes need to be done and how they work. I also learnt how to mix and master. On top of that I learn't music theory the Berklee Music way.
I began Master The Mix in June 2010. Since then the business has grown significantly, many of the clients have had radio time and one of them made it to #11 in the SoundCloud Top 100. I have a relationship with expat records, they send me work in exchange for be sending them artists if I feel they will have career in music.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Master The Mix started in June 2010 to give unsigned aspiring artists the opportunity to get their music mixed and mastered professionally for an affordable price. I have worked with a number of clients and have built up a great working relationship with various individuals, ranging from musicians to record label A&R.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I don't play live as I am a mixing and mastering engineer.
