Mass Defect is the brainchild of Matthew Ward who writes and records all the songs for the band.
Your musical influences
Faith No More, H.R. Geiger, NIN, Pitchshifter, old techno stuff like Nitzer Ebb and early Depeche Mode, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath...damn near anything.
What equipment do you use?
All my sequencing and beats are created using Sound Forge and Fruity Loops. I record some guitars directly into my PC and some are done in a conventional studio. I play ESP, Yamaha and Schecter guitars.
