Masiiyah
What's good peoples....Da' name is Masiiyah... I was born in Oakland, California and lived here my whole life. My story aint the standard black rapper from the ghetto yada yada yada. I grew up by Lake Merritt....da good part of Oakland( well not no more..). So i grew up knowing too sides to life...On one side, i saw the dangerous, povetry stricken, drug infested streets of Oakland that many people know and relate to. On the other side, i would come home to a quiet, safe, well light neighborhood with mostly old white people as my neighbors. I definetly had struggles like any person would. The most difficult was figuring out who i was as a person, and where i wanted to go with my life. My goal is to have this music open peoples eyes, to realize that we (all people [black people especially because we are lacking unity] need to fix the problems we have in society. But i aint gon lie to ya...i want muthafucka's to dance to my shit too.....so yeah....thats me....thanks for checkin my page out.... Masiiyah
