Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Mary Jane born in Flint,Mi and has been doing her thing since the early age of six demanding that she sings before reading in the 1st grade!
She's had a Independent deal with Trax/Solar/Hines Records in 95-96 but had to leave L.A. because of a sick mother, at this time she's currently studying Protools, and engineering.Mary Jane has toured with Momma Don't as an actress, and has worked with many entertainers like George Clinton & Gary Shriner of the Funkadelics, Davina, MC Breed, Melvin Riley & R.F.T.W., Fab from Milli Vanilli, and she's currently working with D12's Mr.Porter a.k.a Kon-Artist who produced the soul track Secret Spot, she co-produced Pony and So Hot and she's producing more daily.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I perform live, different places, I luv it 2 def. opening 4 Biggie Smalls,Tupac when I was a rapper/singer now I'm a singer/songwriter/performer I luv what I do.
Your musical influences
My sound is pretty versatile, from r&b,pop,hip-hop,soul,and club my influences r stars like Prince,Rick James,Madonna,Eryka Badu,Floetry,Bilal,Gwen Estefani,Chaka Kahn,Alicia Keys,D'Angelo,maroon 5, Mos Def just to name a few.
What equipment do you use?
Keyboards, protools, I play by ear can't read a thing, but I'm learning.

I want the world to embrace my sound and your an artist looking for songs, I have no Shhhhhh I'm a songwriter 4 hire no doubt!!!!!!!!!!!!
