Martyr Complex

Martyr Complex is a two-piece angeldustrial espionage group from somewhere near Tampa, Florida. Incorporating vicious beats with driving synths and pounding basslines, Martyr Complex weaves a sound tapestry that is beautiful to behold... until it grabs you by the ears and pounds you into the dancefloor...
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Borrowing from modern gothic and using it with cyber, electro and industrial. Goth, Industrial, and Darkwave in one psychotic package. Formed in late 1997, Martyr Complex spent the first year of their existence practicing the philosophy of what they wanted to sound like. The past ten months have seen Martyr Complex incorporate that philosophy into the final produkt- a sound that is instantly danceable with lyrics that make people think. A lethal dose for the Underground club scene. Use only as directed.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Martyr Complex is currently located in Tampa FL, but we're relocating to Cleveland OH in June 2000. We've played several gigs all over Florida, including opening for Hate Dept, as well as the Tampa Bay Church of the SubGenius Devival in 1999. We've had numerous special moments hehe... but I can't discuss those here until the statute of limitations expires...
