Marty Davis
I was born and raised on a red dirt road out side of Ashland, Kentucky. I've been playing music and writing songs since my early teens. All my songs are FDA approved, contain no additives or preservatives, and have not been known to cause any harmful sound effects.
My earliest musical influences were the Eagles (one of my very first live performances was the Eagles' classic hit "Tequila Sunrise"), Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Pure Prairie League, and James Taylor.
I "played and paid" my way through college in country crossover and bluegrass bands. My vocal style was once described as "Jim Croce meets Randy Travis." I honestly couldn't make the connection. Anyway...
Call me nuts, but I still love Restless Heart and I dig Keith Urban, Billy Dean, John Kennedy, David Wilcox, Shelby Lynne
