Prince Ploppys static ensemble...erm, realy me and my acoustic guitar [although many musicians appear on various recordings, courtesy of one of my bands or groups i have put together, or just given there time freely].
I have been told i have a very distictive voice and understandable words, which is good because i write these songs...lol. Joking aside mostly all the lyrics are meaningful, covering everything from love, to third world slavery.
Band/artist history
Playing in bands for 15 years. Have played in blues, thrash/metal, psychadelic, rock, soul folk, country and other bands throughout the years. Also i've been a solo artist for many years too. I tend to work with musicians too achieve whatever my musical direction is at the time, from simple guitar and vocal stuff through to full band and/ or beat looped tunes [at times].
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes anywhere and everywhere. With or without a band! It's great, what can i say!
Your musical influences
Most everything. Blues, acoustic blues, Nick Harper, The Beatles, New Model Army, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Pink Floyd, Willie Nelson, Bo Diddley, Ry Cooder, Loads of lead guitar players Kirk Hammet, mark knofler, Santana, Slash. I love African music too, King sunny aide and his african beats.
What equipment do you use?
Any guitar. I made an electric guitar, carved with a sun and a moon, inlaid with a cyrstal, so i play that when playing an electric.
