Band/artist history
I have played music for over 41 years and have been blessed to have played around the country for many different audiences. While playing country music I had the opportunity to open for some great artist like Tanya Tucker, Collin Ray, Hal Ketchum, Sawyer Brown and others. The only part of my musical history that really matters is the years that I have devoted to honoring God with my music. The past years have all been to prepare me for what God is doing with me now here in Florence Oregon.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I play at various venues on the West Coast. My band is based in Florence on the Central Oregon Coast. When not performing in solo venues, I am leading the Everyday People Band in a variety of musical events and genres.
Your musical influences
George Winston, Elton John, Keith Emerson, Richard Carpenter and Larry Carlton. I also need to include artist like Hank Williams Sr. and Jr., Chicago, Alabama and The Gaither's.
What equipment do you use?
I currently use a Yamaha Mo XF 8. I use Apple's iPad for music as well as for MIDI and creative process. (I use the IPAD in conjunction with the Alesis I/O docking station) I also use a Korg D3200 and a Tascam DP32SD to record.
Anything else?
If I could only say one thing, it would be "Seek God!" He is there to be found and desires a relationship with you. The only way to reunite with a your creator who is perfect is through the gift given by His son, Jesus, when He gave His life in our place so that we could once again walk with our father in the garden. Your soul knows this is true even if your not sure yet.
