Nazi Martians Nazi Martians

Just Ryan being Ryan. The name is NOT a support for fascism or White supremacy in any way. Ryan just felt Nazi Martians would be scarier than regular Martians I guess. Also,, the band name is NOT based on this song.

The Martians were formed in Tucson when I taught Ryan how to play guitar(about 4 chords). He very quickly wrote about 30 songs all with lyrics. Every song he wrote had his noticable touch to it. Inspiration for the first few years came from the Misfits and their use of macabre and horror themes and grew to include all sorts of influences including Louis Armstrong and surf. The line up in these recordings (done in 94 I believe) is Ryan K -Vocals/Screams Matt K -Bass Matt C-R- Guitar Jacob aka "Waldo"-Drums The songs represent the high point in Ryan's songwriting and were just recently pulled from a rough demo tape we recorded in the drummers garage. Matt K, Ryan's little brother, died a few years ago in an accident he was in his early 20s. Ryan recently passed away on 6-8-07 he was 31. I am making this page as a way to get Ryan's music heard by more people. When we recorded this, we thought it would take us someplace that would involve playing our music. Life sure changes, as we grew up, jobs, family and everything else kept us from pursuing the dream. I hope people enjoy these songs as much as I did, especially to be a part of it, was a huge part of who I am now. I miss you Ryan, you will always be my brother.
