I've found myself in a solo career after a few band attempts. in the studio i play all the instruments. i find that it's an easier process, it's easier to record what's in your head when you have total control.Band/artist history
well i starting writing songs when i was about 14, solo acoustic stuff that i recorded live by myself with a video camera... then some of my freinds asked me to join a band that would later be named willis. willis hung around for awhile, until we decided to go our separate ways... me and the drummer of willis go together with a new bassist and moog player and formed mom's plate (the name was inspired by our favorite tv show "pete and pete.") moms plate recorded a few songs and played a few shows before it slowly disolved. when it all boiled down i found myself recording solo... so i decided to stick with it.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes. I play in the New York metropolitan area and the Philadelphia area. I love playing live! it's soo much fun... I think theres video of me somewhere lying on the ground playing metal solos...
Your musical influences
I could never really could mimic anyone's style because of my playing style (an upside down right handed 5-string guitar with the 100 tunings that i've devolped) but according to what people say, I have some weezer, elliot smith, ben kweller, and ben lee mixed in my music. and i'm fans of all those bands, so i guess it's a positive.Anything else?
