I've just built a new studio at home with some pretty good equipment. I'm also recording other people and trying to make a living out of it. I'm also going to post MP3s of other folks that I'm recording. I'll try to post their URLs here on Soundclick as I upload the songs. I appreciate people listening to some of their stuff. They're just local single acts and bands trying to make Texas music.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
College music scholarship years ago. Played all over north central Texas for years in several different bands all called Slowcoach.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Still in Sweetwater, Texas, and running the recording studio while my wife works hard supporting me.
Your musical influences
Jim Croce, Willie Nelson, Marty Robbins and a couple of Hanks...
What equipment do you use?
Cakewalk. I now have a Delta 1010 soundcard for multitracking in the studio. Also, a nice Allen & Heath mixing board.
Anything else?
Lots of good mics and even more patience!
