Mark has been playing guitar and writing songs since high school.Marks influences are vast from the Beatles,Strawbs,Neil Young,Cat Stevens,James Taylor,Bowie,to Pearl Jam,Nirvana,Gin Blossoms ,Counting Crows and many others.Mark was in an acoustic duo called Dark horse from 1980 - 1982 with Jim Prichard.Mark has been a solo artist since. Mark was one of the winners of UMARCS songwriting contest.Mark was one of the 8 winners whos song was put on a cd the songs are about the Mohawk Valley the cd is called Umarcs Mohawk Valley tribute cd available at cdbabay.com and various outlets in central NY..Mark plays at various coffee houses and bars throughout central NY.
