This page is meant to showcase my collection all original beats. I live in Boston, currently a enrolled at Berklee College of Music and I'm planning on majoring in Music Production & Engineering. Let me know what you think!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I'm also jazz pianist. I've been playing much longer than I've been making beats, and I've been fortunate to perform in several major jazz festivals both in and out of the country. In 2006 I performed in Uruguay and Colorado, and won two national jazz composition competitions (ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Award and Downbeat Student Music Award for Best Extended Original Composition). In fall 2007, I entered Berklee College of Music on scholarships as a piano principle.

Let me take this section to highlight my major influences outside of the above section.
1: J Dilla - where would hip hop and beats be without him today. R.I.P.
2: Robert Glasper - this pianist originally from Houston is blending hip hop, gospel, and jazz and he's responsible for me getting into hip hop. Much love.
3: The Foundation - also from Houston, this hip hop group doesn't get the attention they deserve! There grooves are insane; band members include Glasper.
4: A Tribe Called Quest - hip hop that actually hops
5: Common - lyrics are so soulful, every track has so much pocket
6: The Roots - again, so much pocket
