Mark Christopher
I'm Mark Christopher Frimmel, Born Fort Worth, Texas, 1957. I started recording 9 months ago as of 3/07. Now I write a couple songs a month, and I'm waiting for one of my songs to make it, hopefully. I want to write music that makes a difference. My father always said "If you could just write one song along the lines of "White Christmas", a true legendary Christmas song, you could make it in the music industry." So last December, I gave it a try. My song "It's All About The Love (It's Christmas), is probably one of my best works, along with my new song "How You Feelin' Now", a song about personal struggles and the War in Iraq. My main focus in my music are vibrant 3 part harmonies and versatile style of composition. I do wish everybody well and I hope you like my music.

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been in "the cave" for the last 11 months putting together a myriad of original songs in my home studio. I think I've done well. I have at least 2 LP's worth of excellent material. I now need to get a band together, record with them, and then tour. Any promoters, investors, and booking agents are welcome to contact me at texasmusicproject@yahoo.com
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I do play live, wherever possible. Love it.
Your musical influences
Mostly from the 70's groups like Eric Clapton, Beatles, Moody Blues, Led Zep, Tull, America, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Eagles. Today's artists like Keane, Jet, Josh Kelley, John Mayer, and more. There's definately a resurgence of 70's culture today in music.
What equipment do you use?
Roland JV-35 synth, beater guitars, PA, 1964 Magnatone 130-V, Crate amp, Cakewalk Homestudio
