Our strongest influecne is old school jazz and its most prominent stalwarts:Miles,Clotrane,Bird, etc. Through experimentation, a blend of funk( EWF, Parliment) hip hop and jazz is born into a category of what most term as alternative hip hop. Most influential are producers and artists such as DJ Premier, JDilla, Common,Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, etc.What equipment do you use?
