Ive been singing other peoples songs as long as I can remember, and writing stuff for ages, but it only occurred to me to put the two together a few years ago. This is the first real song I wrote. I wrote it for my mother (whos part Yugoslav) during the Kosovo conflictbut I guess thats not the only thing it could be about.
I have a lot more songs now, which I just need to get around to recording, but people still seem to like this one the best, which is why its on here.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, at my unniversity, we held concerts.
And I play at local jazz bars.
