Anyone seeking a moment of serenity to take an occupied mind off stressful situations will find relief in the musical work offered here. If peace of mind and coherency is desired, available are: serene sound-scapes, ambiances, meditation and space music for relaxation, rejuvintation and healing.

My definition of "SPACE MUSIC" is musical sound, that offers the listener "inner space". My work focuses less to stimulate a specific state of mood - rather supports the listening mind to release grasping to specific concepts and to aid the return to a natural state of being. To achieve this, my work bases on the energetic property of sound energy itself. Binaural sound recordings and synthesized sounds are used to fabricate textures, ambiances and sound fields. My composition work is that of a sculpturer of sound. Sound is a form of energy - much like everything else in the universe - that exists in it's purely vibrational state through time. Listen for example to ocean waves or the sound of crickets in the night to understand the complexity and healing qualities of sound, which feel much more open and natural than any musical composition to me.  
I think the art of sound sculpturing really is, to take sound for what it is and to make that the main attraction, to work with what sound energy has to offer, compared to pushing sound into an envelope, or to move it to the back ground, which happens when using sound as the voice to convey a message.

Binaural means that sound is experienced 3 dimensionally - or existing as an experience all around the listener (when using headphones) revealing spatial detail not comparable with other audio equipment. My binaural sound fields  are specifically designed to aid release and shift of mind states. Available are sounds form my own sound library based on 3 decades of binaural recordings and include nature sounds and various human environments. Synthesizers, vintage analog electronic musical instruments and vintage audio equipment has been my passion since the late seventies. I create my own patches, my own samples and binaural nature sound recordings form scratch. I also create custom sounds to license out for productions, background sound, and for guided meditations - Please inquire. 

As my background is in audio electronics, I have built my own synthesizers and effects, custom modified what ever electronic equipment did not fit my needs or sparked my imagination and have created my own life-music rig, which sets up 5 synths and a sampler, ready to play in less than 15 minutes!

Band/artist history

Creating and recording electronic and space music since 1978! I built my first "synthesizer" in 1976! Tinkering an experimentation part of the ongoing journey!

Have you performed in front of an audience?

Currently no live events planned - but as soon as I get a release form working just too many long hours, you can bet on seeing me out there again! Nothing more exciting than to see people just relax and ease up when I am playing! But I think a trip to do more binaural sound recordings out there in the world is way over due as well!

Your musical influences

Even though I believe that my work sounds quite different, I would like to give tribute to those who have influenced me. Early recordings of: Jean Michelle Jarre, Kraftwerk, Brain Eno, Vangellis, Jon Serrie, Heatwave, old music form the 40's and many many more! I have a music collection that spans about 6000 tracks.

What equipment do you use?

A portable digital flash recorder with my own design of binaural mics for nature / field sound recordings. A custom custom designed music performance system, which I built for myself to be able to play live - sets up in less than 15 minutes - all ready to go! This contains: S2000 sampler, JD990, D550,  TX801, Morpheus synths, Echoplex Digital Pro looper. 3 second vintage digital  delay. At home I also use: ES-1 sampling drum machine, Wurlitzer 200A E-Piano, Korg Mono/Poly, Baldwin Fun Machine custom modified organ (has Moog filter!), vintage analog beat boxes, home brew tube amplified Leslie speakers, 2 good vintage phasors, and a vintage Hammond drawbar / string ensemble organ form the 70's. I am also available to custom build and modify vintage analog music gear. Inquire within :-)

In regards to my binaural sound recordings: In '82 I used a portable UHER reel to rel deck, then various portable pro-cassette decks, portable DAT decks and finally digital flash recorders!
