my band is called in the mix we are a three piece band although i do a lot of stuff on my own using reason and cubase. we mostly do a combination of classical rock and jazz rock.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
started in 1982 then went on for about five years and have just recently reformed with a slightly different lineup.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
yes we have played live all over wales and the south west. one of the most memorable gigs we ever did was at a students union christmas gig in cardiff it all seemed to come together as it does.
Your musical influences
yes, peter gabrial,soft machine pink floyd ,nektar,steeely dan and many others to numerous to mention. (oh and vangelis and jean micheklle jarre, on a personnel note)
What equipment do you use?
i use mostly reason and cubase a mimimoog and ayamaha w5 76 note semi weighted workstation. my bass player has a warwick bass, an leoverwayter bass a takamime 12 string and a charvell electric . we also have a roland 2480 24 travck recording desk and various bits and pieces. our drummer has a tama kit and aroland td3 synth kit
