I belive youve found yet another act to raise hell too.Band/artist history
I started MMI (man.machine.industry) as a synt/industrial band in the year 2000. Back then inspired by bands such as FRONTLINE ASSEMBLY, SKINNY PUPPY and early MINISTRY.
The band developed a more aggressive metal style with my
second release in 2004, "BE LIKE THE DOG YOU ARE AND ENTER THE CIRCLE". More inspired by Ministry, PLP and Rammstein the sound took another turn, away from the syntersizers and towards the guitars.
Later in 2004 the demo CDR "THIS TIME WERE DEAD FOR SURE" was
released and the sound kept evolving. Yet more towards the aggressive
style but at the same time the vocals got more variated mainley
coz I got better at singing.
In late 2005 I released yet another demo CDR "TO HELL AND BACK" contaning five strong songs and the CDR got only the best of respons.
Also a video was filmed for the title track (later changed to The Devils Blues) and the video had the fortune to apear in the PS3 game The Darkness in 2007.
Now in 2008 MMI have found its true sound. J. Bergman, Nail and DNA have played togeather sience 2004 and the lineup feels strong and powerfull.
We got two videos in the PS3 game The Darkness, we have headlined a festival in Helsinki and we have just recorded a new 12 track CD due to be released 2009.
AND we got a DVD finished to go with the album as well.
Right now I am editing a split DVD with M.A.N / LINGUA nad MMI and hopefully it will be released dec 2008.Have you performed in front of an audience?We play live as often as we can and where ever we can.
Sweden is a small country and its hard getting gigs over here.
But we have done better in Finland I think, they seam to like our style of music more over there.
