Old school metal for the new millennium.Band/artist history
Since the release of All Life All Minds on Crazy Life Records (Germany)/JVC Victor Records(Japan) in 1996, MANIFEST DESTINY has continued to deliver modern metal and still keep their roots firmly planted in the old school. Releasing an even heavier second CD, What You Fear in 1997, Crazy Life deemed the band too heavy for the label's new direction. Refusing to compromise, MD made the decision to stay true to their brand of metal and became independent.
By dishing out brutal live performances and building a loyal underground following, MD have since emerged as one of the premier independent metal bands in the U.S. and throughout the world. The Belgian Press even dubbed MANIFEST DESTINY "The New American Thrash Kings". In 2001, MD solidified this fact by attaining the Number 2 Best Selling Metal CD on mp3.com with their third CD Within.
MD continues to devastate live audiences and has shared the stage with many metal legends, including: Flotsam & Jetsam, Nevermore, Stuck Mojo, Fates Warning, Saxon, Testament, King Diamond, Pissing Razors, Biohazard, and Six Feet Under.
Currently, the band is putting the finishing touches on their upcoming fourth CD, Your World Has Died, which promises to be one bad ass offering that you will want to own. Stay tuned for more details on how to get your copy and be on the lookout for MD playing your town... it's a show you don't want to miss!Your musical influences
