Mango Roll

If you like your tunes guitarbased and poppy, with catchy choruses containing a sprinkle of fuzz, and an edge of distortion, and sometimes go for the all out flat pedal wailing, you could do a lot worse than checking out Mango Roll.

I am the only member of the band, which leaves me with all instrumental duties, be it guitar, bass, drum programming and the odd keyboard, as well as singing and producing the songs on my computer...

I play live just about every weekend at local bars. I do mostly pop and rock covers.

Pop with teeth. Elevator music for people who take the stairs. Could sometimes be a cross between Bryan Adams and Foo Fighters, and other times just sweet melodic chartfriendly pop music in the vein of your flavor of the day. Or something. Melody comes first, pidgeonholing second.

Music is created in Cubase SX on a Macintosh G5 computer. My guitar is a Washburn Sammy Hagar signature model, which I run through a V-amp2. My trusty bass is an Ibanez SDgr 1000. Purple, baby! Yeah! Drums are mainly courtesy of Steinbergs Groove Agent. Vocal duties are done through a Shure Sm58.
