Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Samuel and Christus started playing some 3 or 4 years ago. Many hours (years) were spent expressing their will of having a functional band. Many temporary tryouts came and went. No progress was made. When Jocke and Dahre joined the band they finaly managed to record a demo, Svart Tanke - Åt helvete med skiten. Critics claimed it sounded like shaking a can filled with gravel. Some shows were made, intense but messy. In 2004 Svart Tanke moved from their hidingplace in Landskrona and moved to the new HQ in Sireköpinge Lanthandel Bottomless Hellpit and the name was changed into Malum. In late 2004 a new recording session begun. During this intense working they parted ways with their long time guitarist Jocke. Christus, Dahre and Samuel continued the process and in April 2005 their new 6 track demo was out for sale.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Witnessing the brute force that is malum on a stage is a dangerous experience.
We are currently terrorising the small venues of southern sweden and are planning to invade the rest of the world soon.
Your musical influences
Influences are gained by sitting in the frostbitten kingdom of "sireköpinge", where our HQ is located. This crude place fills your thoughts with anxiety and misdeedy behaviour.
