Mal The Rapper str8 from the notorious westside of Chitown. I have been making beats for 4 years & rapping since about 13. With an original style and sound ya know with a lil of that Chi flava though.
I am with an independent record company. Which will release 3 albums in 2003 so watch 4 the boy.
Your musical influences
I'm influenced by soul music. My music got alot of feeling in it. I listen to Al green, Bootsy Collins, Marvin Gaye, Bobby Womack people like that. So I got alot of laid back playa shit but nothing to sleep on. I try to be diverse and make all type of music cause you only get better. U never what type of shit u a get from me.
What equipment do you use?
Triton, Yamaha, MPC & a mic thats it.
