Hip Hop production... whatever that is. I'm not sure what my style is. All I know is that I think that most midi instruments are cheesy sounding, so I try to stick with samples.
Honestly, I think it's more challenging to sample. Additionally, it usually helps make a better product.
Oh. I hate crunk music and minimalist beats that consist of an untuned bass tone paired with a snap and some sort of simplistic synth line.
I'll try to keep my music cerebral and enjoyable. I go for what's aurally pleasing.
