My name is Mitchell, A.K.A. MainManMitch. I've been a major hiphop-fan all my life. About two years ago I started rhymes myself, and I am now looking to expand my musical abilities.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Not much history here yet... like I said I started out two years ago, and i'm now looking to build things up slowly.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not yet. I'm still developing material, haven't got enough at the moment.
Your musical influences
When it comes to hiphop, my biggest inspirations are Outkast, Method Man, Common Sense, Jurassic 5, Blackalious, A tribe called Quest, Slick Rick, The Roots, Rahzel, The Pharcyde, Jedi Mind Tricks, Canibus etc. etc. I also like good ol' soul like James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross and I enjoy listening to jazz and funk as well.
What equipment do you use?
All I need is one mic... But seriously, I use a mic and software, but I'm hoping to get some better equipment in the near future.
