A VERY EPIC song, Brian for the CBC Ancient Egypt Song Challenge! The music is dramatic like in a Film with a beautiful mix of instruments from Percussion to Horns to All...thanks for the song pleasure, and for the dl to our JBBQ Best of Best Music Player.

the intro is reminiscent of old Hollywood and majestic films. the song proper is a nice contrast and certainly brings in the main theme so well. nice arrangement, unique and fun to listen to

This was a stand out track for me on the night - brilliant work here Brian! I love the way you use light and shade, building drama through the use of different instruments and timbres - great melodies too! Nicely evocative of Egypt , and then the grand fanfare at 1:38 - utterly fantastic!

Majestic! Big sounds and the right oriental touch to the melodies. The marimba sounds very authentic in this setting, well spotted by you. The whole piece is a bit short, but very well put together. Very nice!

Great musical idea and developing, the melody line tends to a slightly modern style, well combined with the classic intro. Supreme outro!! Good work indeed Brian!!

I love the brass intro..I felt like I was watching Ben Hur or something then it goes into that beautiful winding woodwind melody..and back into a more stately full sound with the brass again..great stuff!

Now this is big brass...I love the huge intro...well done. The percussion underneath the fine flute play is superb. The ending, marvelously crafted. Thoroughly enjoyed this ancient journey. Great work for the evening' challenge.
