I'm Magi a rapper comin from the East Bay Area, California, El Sobrante. I'm half Italian, half Portuges and all Hip-Hop. I kick rhymes on the corner, at my house or a friends hosue, spoken words, open mics, any place someone's willing to listen, I'll rap, whether it's written or free. I'm pure rapper.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I use to be Math Matikz, but I wanted a name with more meaning behind it and that I know is unique. I've been writing for about four years, freestyling for a while now. I had a CD that I released just selling out my trunk, no label or anything called "Evolutionst working on mixtapes and eventually a demo.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I said before, I rap anywhere people will listen. Open mics, shows with DJ Stylewise, at my boys house, anywhere I have an audience.
Your musical influences
Everything. I get my flow from Nas and 2Pac influence, delivery, from RUN DMC, E-40, everythwere, I even have lyrical influences form Johnny Cash.
