Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I began spitting at the age of 10 or 11. I was heavily influenced by RUN-DMC, Kurtis Blow, LL Cool J, Special Ed, D-Nice, NWA, Ice Cube etc. But I was also influenced by gospel as well, like the Williams Brothers, Jackson Southernaires, John P. Kee, Fred Hammond, the Winans, Marvin Sapp, as well as R&B like Freddie Jackson, Gregory Abbott and others. I have always appreciated music and how it made people feel. I've always be creative at drawing and writing, and as I got older and the process of making music became a lot simpler and affordable, I began to jump into the game.
I've never been a stereotypical rapper. With a Christian upbringing, it heavily influences my style. I don't do Christian rap, I am a Christian that raps so I rap about what I do.
