MEXICA TIAHUI! maCEhual (mah-say-wal) is a CHICANO emcee from Los Angeles that tries to relate the struggle of his CHICANO people through the form of hip-hop music. Inspired by the likes of dead prez, talib kweli, public enemy, aztlan underground, lauryn hill, and many others, maCEhual is determined to get his people recognized.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
maCEhual has been rhyming for the last 4 years. In the last two years, he has developed a more political content. He is now trying to shed some light on the struggle of oppressed people worldwide.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I haven't played live yet. I'm still trying to establish myself.
