MABE
My arrangement of Daniel Ingram's masterpiece: the CMC Theme from MLP:FiM "Showstoppers."
I'm taking actual composition lessons, and my teacher wanted me to write something for solo violin. This is probably not what she wanted at all... But it's what came out. I'm not entirely happy with it yet, but here it is.
This is the result of practicing with synthesizers. It's all over one chord progression.
A sequel to One Night's Stand. This song is slow, with very abrupt changes and stops meant to signify waves of grief.
An experimental moody atmoshphere-y song. Lots of strings.
A strictly atmosphere-ish song. It gets pretty good about half way through.
An extended and much-improved remix of my so-far best song in the charts, Sunburn. It's a MegaMan-esque game theme progression including a title theme, level theme, boss theme, and ending theme.
My friend challenged me to write a song using my phone number as the guidelines for the chord progression. This is it. It's a bit of piano, some synth, some strings. My usual style.
This is my attempt to bridge classical dance music and modern dance music. I think it's quite a unique fusion.
It opens softly with a music box and strings, but trust me, it's metal.
I was practicing with synths and ended up making a nice short little songlet over a jazz minor progression.
A short choral piece. I was practicing writing real classical music, which I'm still lousy at.
Meant as a movie soundtrack action theme. I start with some SFX and then add a duduk and sitar.
A cello-heavy techno piece (weird, right?) written for and dedicated to my uncle, who passed far earlier than his time should have been.
Inspired by the Metroid Prime soundtrack. Picture a cold, calm, and barren environment.
A kind of cheesy love ballad, opens with piano and then a guitar duet.
A song written for my roommate, inspired by his own artwork. A short pop rock song.
A contemporary trombone duet. It's not baroque, so I didn't fix it...
