Travis Bridges a.k.a. "Max B" was born on March 1st 1986 in Dallas, Texas, with his first love of dancing. At age ten, he started singing and had people telling him he should become a professional singer. He was constantly watching music videos and went to several concerts, and immediately knew that is what he wanted to do. He moved from Dallas to Evansville, Indiana, in 1998 after both of his parents died. Evansville, Indiana, became home to Travis. Coming to Evansville, he wanted to have a new start and created the person he is today as Max B. Always showing off in high school, he was asked to perform at numerous events and show off his talents. He performed at Prom when he was only a freshman, homecoming dances, and Christmas dance. Max always had support that kept pushing him to his dream. The influences for my music have been Craig David, Brian McKnight, Justin Timberlake, and numerous boy bands, such as Nsync, 5ive, and New Edition. After High school, Max really became serious about his music. Although, he goes by the name of Max B, he is also called Rayne, because his lyrics are like raindrops on the ladies. During College at University of Evansville, he worked at 91.5 WUEV. Max also sang at a local Evansville nightclub called The Warehouse. From this event he had a commercial on Kiss FM 106.1 that aired constantly. His 2 songs So lonely, and One Chance which feat. His best friend, Will C, were long time requests on 91.5 for repeated months. In Sept of 2006, Max decided it was time for his dream of making it as a big star needed a push start, and his friends motivated him to try out for the famous TV. show, American Idol. He did well, but eventually did not get past the audition process. But max didnt give up so easily. Three weeks later he tried out for a new talent show called, Best new Talent which was in St. Louis, MI. He tried out and was the only person who made it to the finals, which were held in LA, California. Max, was so determined to go out to LA and impress the judges and end up getting a recording contract, but that all came to a sudden stop, when max realized that the funds for him to travel, hotel, and competition fee was so high. He still held his head high, and knew that he would not be able to make it out there, but also would not stop trying to pursue his dream of becoming a singer! Since trying out for both talent competitions, Max ran into a friend who teaches dance at a dance studio. After a couple of conversations they eventually came to an agreement that Max would teach a hip-hop on Fridays for a month. The dance studio did not have a hip- hop program so it would be the first, and Max knew that he would make it a successful class. His first class had an estimated 30 people in it, and by the last class had an impressive over 40 members. This is pretty cool for a 21 yr old street dancer who is just doing what he does every day of the week Max said, in a smile in the last class. Maxs style of dancing is free-styling, with a street vibe of whats new and hot right now in the urban area in his local town of Evansville, IN. Max is currently putting the final touches of making his album After the Storm which should be out by winter or spring of 2008. Max has the ambition, drive, and determination to succeed in the music industry, but the question remains is the world ready for Max B?
