Lyrikal
On the Farm Productionz......My name is Lyrikal, I am On the Farm Productionz. My debut album entitled "Where I Live" is due in local stores (N.H. only for now) in November. I did all the writing and production myself. This album is a journey into my world, a twisted form of reality. When you listen to it start to finish you will know who Lyrikal is.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been spittin' my lyrikal rambling's for about 7 or 8 years. I've had a love for hip hop since about 1986.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play in the Portsmouth, NH area. Im trying to get gigs all over New England but there is no hip hop scene right now. I plan on changing that. I got some big events coming up that might open local venues eyes at the $$$ hip hop shows can bring them. I hope.
Your musical influences
I guess if i had to pick a genre that influeced me it would be early 90's hip hop. Smooth beats and smooth flows, mix that with poetry and you got my style. If I had to pick some MC's that influnce me I'd say, Slug, and Sage Francis.
