Luminaire (UK)
Luminaire is a project I started about a year ago..when I had three months off work. The aim is to make electronic music for the dancefloor/living room..I am more interested in playing live than releasing stuff. I enjoy listening to a wide spectrum of music and I hope this is reflected im my sound.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
"He was about fourteen when he got his first decks. They were two pioneer belt drives with a little bit of pitch control and some stanton carts..he got them out of the friday free ads. Teamed up with his 30 Tandy two-channel mixer and a shitload of tunes he was ready to storm the rave scene..it was massive down South then.......anyway, he got his first gig playing a nurse's party in a laundry room. Lucky bleeder...17 years, a few pairs of decks and lots of vinyl later he has finally got his act together and made some music of his own, rather than playing other people's." UNCLE PHIL.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play live in small venues in Brighton. All my moments are special..
