You have the LSM, we represent that true underground style of hip hop. PROCEED WITH CAUTION
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
VIKTOR PRICE: "I started writin rhyems at the age of 17 in 1997 with my boy FOUND PROFIT in high school, then I really got in to making beats, I was more on the production side of hip hop like around the 2000-2001 era of hip hop. Found Profit keept on writing and freestyle, and I focused on music production, we where a Producer + MC dule like Gangstarr or Pete Rock and CL Smooth. Then out of blue TONY GOLD came to sceen with his mafia look and srteet smarts co-producing beats for me. TONY GOLD'S advice in music production is off the hook, he selects samples that you wouldn't even think of using and turns shit in to GOLD!! Thats why we call him TONY GOLD a.k.a Bunz. Can't forget about LSM's TIMMIE TEKK, he is also a deadly asset to LSM crew with his visous vocals and his unique ideas. TIMMIE TEKK is also follwing the production side of hip hop, he brings that groomy miltant sound to bust your eardrums to multiple peceis. Its 2005, and we the LSM have developed and masterd our own style."
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
FOUND PROFIT: "Nah, just at house jams, just stright freestylin around the city, battlin wack mcs who wanna tess. I once freestyled for an hour and a half, i was drinkin, smokin spliff with my boy in Counry Hill area in Kitchener, but time will tell"
Your musical influences
VIKTOR PRICE: "Artist like Wu-Tang, Gangstarr, Hieroglyphics, Kool Keith, Dead Prez, Cannibal OX, Sunz Of Man and heads like Rass Kass was the influences for all of my crew, teaching us the ways of life, what the system really dose behinde closed doors, teaching us what the snakes in todays socity is all about. Also leaders like Bob Marley, Malcolm X. Underground was what done it for us, none of that club shit, staright politic type hip hop. I my self was influenced mainly by The Rza, EL-Producto, and Kool Keith for developing there own unique production and flow to the hip hop game, they also created there own independent record label. I still follow there ways of music."
What equipment do you use?
VIKTOR PRICE: "Computer: Acid Pro, Keyboard [Korg]. Studio Project mic for the vocal tip of recording."
Anything else?
LSM would say one love to all the TURE!! MCS, PRODUCERS, DJS, GRAF ARTISTS, SKATEBOARDERS and everyone who done something positive to help out the underground hip hop nation. ONELOVE to my Berlin headz and my Country Hill Soldiers!!
