Oi! We are Low Frequency. We're a punk band with some ska. If you like hard, fast punk and catchy, up-beat ska, all with real, thought-provoking lyrics, then try listening to us.
We're just a 3-piece band; the usual guitar, drums, and bass. We're from Burlington, Ontario, come check us out if you live around there

Me (Dave) and Eric met at our high school, Notre Dame, in Burlington, Ontario. We both wanted to be in a band, and we both wanted to write songs that had a good message and a hard punk sound, so we formed a band in January of 2003. We wrote alot of songs, but we could never do anything with them because we could never find a drummer. Finally, a year later, we met Jake over the local message board (the 905 board), and started playing some shows. Now we are just playing some shows, recording some songs, and having fun.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We usually play shows around Burlington. We put alot of energy, enthusiasim, and sweat (lots and lots of sweat!) into the shows. Come check us out if you can.

Our overall infuences are NOFX, Rancid, Operation Ivy, Anti-Flag, and Leftover Crack/Choking Victim. We each have our own individual influences though.

What equipment do you use?
Whatever we can afford, which isn't much! But thats what you do, especially in this genre; you work with what you got. It's all about the DIY ethic. I think when you don't have all the expensive equipment it sounds better anyways. I know in our recordings we like that raw sound
