Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Northern California. Fertile soil. Good for almonds, tomatoes, um, grapes and uh... music! Love Gone South is four folks that have some good history. Matt and Josh went to elementary school together, Slade is Matt's next door neighbor, and Amy and Matt's friendship go back to the early 90's. We are friends that like to get together and rock out a bit, play some happy songs, some sad songs... share a pint, or some good tea.
We just recorded a CD called "drift". We recorded most of it in Matt's spare bedroom. That's where we sometimes practice, and it just felt right. It's an 8 track recording, not a bunch of overdubs and pitch correction... pretty raw, and spontaneous. We hope you like it! Oh, you can get it at the Beat Records and R5 records, or, of course, at one of our shows (that's our preference, so we can meet ya and say THANKS!)
