Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
For more than 20 years I've been playing in Rock, Blue and Jazz bands, and I also produced a few artists. Everyone who is interested in my music is invited to visit my homepage (www.loupoe.de). There you can see and hear what I did the last 10 years.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Hell yeah. There is no substitude for it.
I am play different styles, but mostly Blues and Jazz.
Your musical influences
Mostly I am influenced by Rock and Jazz guitarists. Jimi Hendix, Edward Van Halen, Steve Vai,Uil Jon Roth, Jan Akkerman, John Scofield, Mike Stern, Wes Montgomery, Jeff Beck, ...
I am also influenced of a lot of other musicians, bands and noises. Did you ever listen the the groove of an escalator ?
What equipment do you use?
Almost everyhing I use is in my Apple Macintosh. Emagic and ... stuff. For the guitars: Fender Stratocaster, Paul Reed Smith, Gipson Es 335 and Gipson Les Paul Standard. Music Man Stingray Bass. Vox amplifiers.
Anything else?
Sometimes I lose my motivation. Again and again, I'd get back up again because I miss playing. It's a part of myself, it's part of my soul. The Blues is my roots. I'm not black and I'm not poor or unhappy, but the Blues shows me the way to form a single note.
