Peter, thanks for your kind messages. You may be right about the change to After Its All Over but I actually think I've speeded it up and not down. If you are who I think you are please send me your e-mail address so I can contact you and arrange a copy of my music on CD. I had a few mastered from the original mixdown DAT a couple of years back and I'd be delighted to send one to you. Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Louis, Just listened to After it's all over. You have slowed it down a lot since I heard it last. Then it had an intro by Pete Quinn saying something like "After it's all over take 5 - and this time Louis, geddit right. " Does that recording still exist?

Hi Louis, is your music available on CD? If so, how can I purchase it?

I was already pretty sure I liked this stuff just reading about it on your interview. But now I've listened to the songs and I'm certain. Fantastic stuff. The lyrics are the best part to my mind, they would work on their own, but the music is also very good.

Hi Louis, Came back and am checking out "Life" just now. This one doesn't sound like Roxy Music. :) That said, it's well produced and the song flows nicely. If you get a chance check out my new song "Kirsten" and give me your thoughts. Take it easy. Euan.

Rey Thanks for the comments about Life. It remains one of my favourite songs. You may have guessed I play in Open-E which I think contrasts pretty well with the pedal steel. Cheers Louis

Marty Thanks for the comments. I can see what you mean about the tempo being potentially "upbeat" and the length of the intro. However, I wanted to create a contemporary sound so I could make the subject accessible to a wider audience and the intro aims to help establish this. Louis

Hi Louis - I agree with Euan. I like your instrumentation and vocals but the whole thing seems a little too upbeat for a song describing the famine of the irish in the 1800's. Also feels like a very long intro - even though its well done it may stop folks from listening through.

Euan Thanks for the message. Hmmm! Roxy Music? I've not heard that one before but I am great admirer of Brian Eno! Louis

Hey Louis, Listening to "rotten potato blight." Your style kinda reminds me of Roxy Music. It's great. Keep up the good work. Euan.
