Louann
My name is Louann and generally, I'm a cover artist. I don't really have the capabilities to do anything else. I enjoy singing, especially songs that leave me out of breath. That way I know that I'm doing my best.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've only sung live twice and although at both times I was a nervous wreck I'm told that I still gave performances that were really good. Which is good since I'm quite a perfectionist.
Your musical influences
My musical influences are... The big three JPop artists, Ayumi Hamasaki, Utada Hikaru and BoA(even though she's Korean). I also admire the less known artists in Japan like Yuna Ito, Maaya Sakamoto(she's quite big too) and my new favorite Ai Otsuka (I'm not too sure how famous she is). To me, I admire those who sing songs that they enjoy (like Cheico Kawabe, also an influence) and those with very powerful emotions in their songs (Miliyah Katou). Though I usually sing in Japanese I do like English artists too.
What equipment do you use?
Ah... I can't say I use anything impressive. It's just a cheapo microphone from Argos.
