Lotus Divide is dark-ish electronic music that sometimes incorporates synth-pop and electro-goth elements.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Have not played live as Lotus Divide. Did do vocals and stuff for a live show with my friend Brian's band Divider. It was really fun.
Your musical influences
Bands that have influenced me: Radiohead, Seabound, Sigur Ross, Skinny Puppy and Download and the like, Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie, Depeche Mode, Rozz Williams and alot of his projects, Suede, Lamb, Tool, VNV Nation just to name a few.
What equipment do you use?
I am computer based. I use Sonar, Adobe Audition, Reaktor, Absynth, Reason, and Ozone. I have a mic for vocals and recording and a mixer for recording and routing. And I have my Mackie monitors and some Audio Technica Headphones.
