Lotanerv aka Lajuan Simmons born in Staten Island, New york and raised in every borough in New York City from 125th and Broadway (Harlem, New York) to south side Jamaica Queens. He has a little bit of every hood in him. Lotanerv made his debut in 1988 when he was featured on a single entitled “DREAMS” by “Cecile Grier” one year after his dad was tragically murdered. That is when he started his reign of perfection in hip-hop. He is now moving with the sounds of hip-hop, commercial rap and is on top of his game from his former groups Untold, as Naughty Child and as Infinity in S.M.F, Lotanerv has had sufficient experience in the game to swing with the heavy hitters. Also known as Loo Johnz; has toured and performed in at least twenty-four cities across the united states, doing at least 2 to 3 shows a day. He has opened for major acts such as Biggie Smalls, Az, Miss Jones, Lost Boys, Mad Lion, Krs 1, Junior Mafia, and Wu-Tang, just to name a few. Although, he was very young during those times he made it his business to leave a mark where people would remember him on and off stage. In 2004 Nervs’ music charted in the top 5 positions on over 23 Internet radio stations worldwide. His music has spins in Japan, Canada, United Kingdom, France, and Germany. Also Belgium, and Ireland. Unswerving, would best describe this talented performer. His mission is to be one of the most heartfelt rappers of all times. Between his diverse lyrical approaches to hip-hop he is indisputably one of the best new artist to hit the mainstream market. Currently working with Grier & Associates Entertainment and Top Gunz Inc. Nerve has currently finished his album “WELCOME TO LOO YORK”, which features some of the hottest producers such as “Mike Check,” “Kofi Black”, “Heart Of The City”, and “K. Coasta”. Some of the featured artist are “Fes Taylor”, Hue Hefna”, and “Tryphlawn” Both companies are currently negotiating tours over seas and the United States to promote his recent project.
